Situated on the south-western tip of the Bukit Peninsula of Bali, Uluwatu is the archipelago’s beach-laden clifftop expanse.

‘The Uluwatu’ is located at Jl Raya Uluwatu.Br.Dinas Karang Boma, Desa Pecatu, 80364, Bali-Indonesia

Travelling from Bali Denpasar-Ngurah Rai Airport to Uluwatu takes approximately 1hr 30 minutes.

From the airport, you can find Blue Bird Taxis, as well as an official Grab Lounge to accommodate the ride-sharing app Grab.

Before you go you will need:

  • Passport:

    Valid passport with six+ months validity

  • All Indonesia Arrival Card:

    This is mandatory for all travellers and must be submitted online before arrival to register your travel and customs You can complete this online here.

  • Visa on Arrival (‘VoA’) or an Electronic Visa on Arrival (‘e-VoA’):

    This is a short-term, single-entry visa for tourism allowing you to stay in Indonesia for up to 30 days. You can obtain this online here (approx. AUD$50), or upon arrival in Bali at the airport.

  • Bali Tourism Levy:

    All foreign tourists are required to pay a tourist levy of IDR 150,000 (approx. AUD$15 per person). This levy is to protect, preserve and maintain the culture and natural environment of Bali. This can be paid prior to arrival via Love Bali website, or on arrival at Bali airport.
